About Me

My name is Graham Torrance and I live in Musselburgh, in Scotland's beautiful coastal district of East Lothian, with my two cats Maisie and Lola. I have a real passion for travel and by creating this blog, I hope that I can share some of the experiences that I have had with you.

When I was much younger, I wasn't particularly well travelled, however, I decided to adopt a "work to live" approach and set about seeing as much of the world that I possibly can. Now I try to go on as many holidays a year as possible, alongside other weekend and overnight breaks.

The key to any great holiday or trip is in the planning and I spend a long time researching countries, regions, towns and villages before mapping out the perfect independently organised adventures.  A lot of the places that I have visited are a little more remote or off the beaten track but sometimes quieter and away from the usual hustle and bustle of tourist hotspots.

I hope that you find my blog fun to read and I hope that it gives you some inspiration for travel destinations and ideas of your own. I'd be delighted to hear from you if you have any feedback, comments or tips you would like to share.
